Our River

The health of our beautiful river is important to us all.

There was a special Mullet Mail 'River Health Issue' full of great features written by local experts which will be of interest. The 'River Health Issue' can be accessed from the Mullet Mail page by clicking here.

Dr Peter Coad of Hornsby Shire Council also gave a fascinating presentation to the League Public Meeting on 15 June 2013 on the significant initiatives that Council and other groups have undertaken to improve the health of our river.

Those who missed Dr Coad's presentation and those lucky enough to see it who would like to explore the resources he referred to, will be pleased to know that Council has a web page dedicated to the Hawkesbury Estuary.

Click the underlined headings to be taken to the particular resource which will open in a new window.
